Virtual Reality in Mental Health - Into the real

June 12-13 Helsingborg 2025

A warm welcome to the 2nd International Conference on Virtual Reality in Mental Health – Into the real – June 12-13 2025 in the vibrant city of Helsingborg, Sweden!

We are thrilled to invite you to the international VR in Mental Health Conference – Into the Real, taking place on June 12-13, 2025, at the Clarion Hotel Congress Sea U in Helsingborg, Sweden.

This event is proudly organized by Lund University (Associate Professor Märta Wallinius) and Helsingborg City (M.Sc. Annika Gustafson) in collaboration with the UMCG VR Mental Health Lab (Prof. MD. Wim Veling), the University of Copenhagen (Prof. MD. Merete Nordentoft, Prof. Louise Birkedal Glenthøj), and University of Melbourne (Prof. Lucia Valmaggia).

Over the course of two days, the conference will serve as a dynamic platform to highlight the latest developments in VR applications for mental health and to explore emerging innovative frontiers. Our aim is to provide a space where VR researchers and partners can connect, generate synergies, and foster new collaborations. Attendees will also have the opportunity to experience cutting-edge VR technologies firsthand, and engage with an art installation centered on mental health.

Stay tuned for more information on the conference program. Registration and submission of presentations are now open.
